本作は2月12日に東京・渋谷公会堂で行われた彼らのワールドツアー「Versailles World Tour 2011 -Holy Grail-」最終公演の模様を収録したもの。彼らにとって2度目となる今回のワールドツアーは、昨年6月にリリースした2ndアルバム「Holy Grail」 を携え、約7カ月かけて世界18カ国で開催された。
なおVersaillesは、11月1日より神奈川・新横浜 SUNPHONIX HALL in Yokohama Arenaでの公演を皮切りに全国9カ所を回る全国ツアー「Versailles TOUR 2012 "Chateau de Versailles"」を開催。12月20日東京・NHKホールにて行われるファイナル公演をもって活動を休止する。
