3776が新アルバムで表現するのは“宇宙が始まってから終わるまでのすべて”、富士山の変遷とともに

“富士山ご当地アイドル”こと3776のニューアルバム「The Birth and Death of the Universe through Mount Fuji」が明日12月11日にリリースされる。

3776は静岡・富士宮市を拠点に活動する井出ちよののソロユニット。2015年発表の1stアルバム「3776を聴かない理由があるとすれば」では1mを1秒に見立てて、全収録曲の長さが富士山の標高と同じ数値、3776秒になるように制作され、2019年発表の2ndアルバム「歳時記」では3776が“富士山の気持ち”を汲みとり、1秒で2時間進む設定で1年間に相当する73分12秒の楽曲群が収められた。

「The Birth and Death of the Universe through Mount Fuji」は3776にとって5年ぶり、通算3枚目のフルアルバム。本作はタイトルの通り“宇宙が始まってから終わるまでのすべて"をテーマに制作された。「富士山は何でできている？……原子？いや、素粒子？富士山はどこにある？……もちろん、この宇宙！」という持論のもと、計14曲のポップなアイドルソングが収録される。収録曲の作詞作曲はすべてプロデューサーの石田彰が手がけた。
