「時代をあつめて」は2015年7月発表の2ndシングル「一目惚れ e.p.」以来約10カ月ぶりとなる新作シングル。今作には椎木知仁（G, Vo）が作詞作曲を手がけた「戦争を知らない大人たち」「最愛の果て」「悪口たち」「卒業」の全4曲が収められる。
またタワーレコード各店舗およびタワーレコードオンラインでは「MHiB, MDiB?」と書かれたメジャーデビュー記念Tシャツの販売が決定。彼らの地元・新潟にあるタワーレコード新潟店では限定カラーの白のTシャツが用意され、このほかの店舗とタワレコオンラインでは黒のTシャツが販売される。なお前作までのリリース元であるTHE NINTH APOLLOは引き続き、バンドのマネジメント業務を行うため、My Hair is BadはTHE NINTH APOLLO所属アーティストとして、EMI Recordsより作品をリリースすることとなる。
彼らは5月22日の千葉・千葉LOOKから9月25日の新潟・EARTHまで計35公演を行う全国ツアー「My Hair is Bad ホームランツアー 2016」を開催する。
